I'm about to buy a notebook. Primary for playing and occasionally Office movies etc. Only the CPU is not fixed. Either i5 8300h or i7 8750h. The question is whether the price difference of 150 euro is worth it?
GPU is a GTX1060 with 6GB
8GB DDR4 2666 (still expanding to 16)
Samsung's 512GB SSD
Why not a PC?
the i5 is enough
Well, the i5 is also good has 4 cores and 8 threads while gambling might get 5-10 fps more if the i7 if it brings something? Rather not because the graphics chip is quite strong enough. I would rather buy a cheap notebook for your office work and to gamble a pc.
No, the i7 only has more features, but little more power
I agree with both statements, with the laptop, the i7 is only slightly faster (only on paper) … And even a desktop PC would easily be twice as fast for the same price.
Mr thermal trotling and such
Exactly, unfortunately…
Primary games?
Then a GPU is more relevant than the CPU.
Then look for a better GPU.
Thanks for the information. Pc does not come into question simply because of the space and the time I can invest to play
The i7 brings in a notebook barely more. The i5 already has enough power for the remaining components.
