How to charge a DELL LATITUDE PP01L?

Found an old laptop in my grandpa's basement last week. Unfortunately I have no battery for it. I want to buy one from the internet but I don't know how to charge it…

What else can you say? A cable with an integrated power supply unit to connect the laptop to the socket. But the battery is probably broken anyway.
