I'm looking for a laptop for the vocational school with which I also want to program in java and visual studio and is not overwhelmed so quickly if it goes under 500 euro. Can someone recommend me something
Do you need a strong graphics card? If not, just look for Thinkpads with i7 on ebay. With "older" notebooks (except Macs), everything under i7 likes to quickly do the trick.
I would recommend a ThinkPad as a lease return.
With about 350 euro you are there (15 "). Although up to 6 years old (rather younger), you get spare parts for everything (if necessary at some point) and also have a replaceable battery.
Test from back then: https://www.notebookcheck.com/...588.0.html
With newer devices → the battery is permanently installed, sometimes moderately easy to replace after some handicraft work, others are glued… This is how the mobile device - like current rubbish phones - becomes a disposable device.
The Asus ASUS D509 recommended by someone else here in the thread: Exactly the problem with the battery. Permanently installed → just watch videos on YT regarding battery replacement.
Battery life: 2-3 years…
Look here: https://www.otto.de/...=978300090 This costs 399 euro and has a very good price-performance ratio.
