Advertising despite 2 Adblocker?

Right now I'm using Adblock Plus and AdBlock for Google Chrome, and yet I keep getting ads. Currently I get this advertisement on a certain page

Advertisement friendly advertising I have already deactivated I restarted my laptop but unfortunately did not work very long

Some time ago I asked a question about this topic but the problem did not seem to be fixed or not completely

Also, I was told that using two adblockers is not good, but that's why I still do not know

Could someone tell me what you can do against advertising and explain to me what that person meant by that statement?

Take uBlock

AdBlock blocks only those who do not pay enough…

Ri

Which Ublock should I download, in the Chrome Store are 3 different?

pa

So I just have uBlock

And delete the other two…

Ri

I already did that and decided on uBlock Origin. He is really better than both together.

I also used Adblock Plus for many years, but at some point in time advertising was leaked, which is why I switched to uBlock Origin.

uBlock Origin really blocks everything from advertising to me. In addition, the extension also warns you about various links, where you have to specify first if you really want to call the link.

It's also true that you may have caught something that makes ads. This is something you often catch during a software installation if you do not select the custom installation. If you simply click on "Continue" during an installation, additional programs will often be downloaded. In addition, this can also change the start page / search engine and manipulate other browser settings.

To check if you have caught anything, you can do a search with the AdwCleaner. You can download the application here for free: https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/

After downloading the program you can also start directly, an installation is not necessary. Close all open programs beforehand.

You start the search and remove at the end of all finds, by moving them to quarantine. You may end up with a second search result with pre-installed software. Here you do not have to tick. Afterwards your PC must be restarted.

If the AdwCleaner found something, I would for safety's sake Chrome back to the default settings.

Click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Settings. Scroll down and click on Advanced. At the bottom, select the Reset Settings to Initial Defaults button.

Use uBlock Origin, it blocks almost all advertising.

I'll probably try this with the Adcleaner, but to reset Google Chrome to its default settings and then set everything up again, I just do not have the time
