Why is the upload so exaggeratedly better than the download?

When I do tests with the speediest app, I always get results with a download of 8 to 14 Mbps for download and 25 Mbps for upload on the mobile phone, but also with a laptop, it is also about the upload is better than the download.

Why is that?

Cu

To be honest, I can't tell you either.

But I can reassure you that everything is normal!

Ab

That's unusual. My suspicion would be that your Wi-Fi is poorly set up or that there's a lot of competition on the channels used.

pa

OK thanks.

One more question, how can I do that so that the internet connection remains stable, there will be an external antenna.

Cu

So use a LAN cable with the PC and not W-LAN. You can't do more as a user

ma

It's not normal. Even with SDSL, both should be the same. We end users mostly have ADSL or artificial cable connections adapted to ADSL.

I would contact your customer support from the provider to see if they can confirm this on the backend. If so, it could be due to an incorrectly configured router or a defect in the router. In both cases, coordinate the next steps with your provider.

pa

Hmm ok what can I do.

On the app from Magenta Routerhilfe it says that the channels are good.

External antennas would keep the connection stable.

pa

OK thanks.

Ab

Maybe the device is in a bad position? And yes, free antennas are usually better. But often the devices have that too, you just can't see it under the plastic housing.

pa

Hmm wait I have to try it out.

Ga

If I interpret everything correctly, then you are connected to the router via Wi-Fi, right?

And with Wi-Fi, there are many possibilities why the test turned out as the screenshot shows.

I ask you to have a look in the router to see what kind of synchronization value is shown there (at what speed is your router connected to us).

Do you know where you can see this? If you have any questions, please just contact me.
