With my lenovo g710 (Win8.1) I have the problem that the download rate is always about 30 mbit / s, although the upload rate is 50mbit / s. According to the tariff, I should have up to 1000mbit / s and of course it is clear to me that you also need the necessary equipment to achieve such download rates.
I'm only wondering why it is on another lenovo laptop which is also in this household and the download rate for my s10 is around 200-300mbit / s. It really seems like only the g710 is affected.
I have also tried everything possible, such as restarting routers and amplifiers and resetting them, measuring values with and without cables, measuring at different times of the day and on several days, updating all drivers, etc.
what I noticed by the way is that all devices connected to the amplifier have low download rates (upload is fine).
to make sure that it is not due to the amplifier (whatever the reason for the problem) I went to the router with the g710 and measured there with and without cables and in both cases the download rate remained low. Does anyone know what else I can do? The problem can't come from vodafone because they also confirmed to me that everything was in order after their measurements.
Can't you dial into the router and see how much up and down it is connected to? It couldn't be easier and you know where the scapegoat is
I do not understand exactly where / how / what to look, but I can tell you that I could see in the speed test that the promised 1000mbit / s from the server to the router. Only from the router to the home network I have little mbit / s.
I just did the test again on the s10 (I'm far from the router but close to the amplifier) and now I have a low download rate on my cell phone while uploading and ping are great.
Now I've just checked. Lenovo g710, that should have been on the market in 2013/14. I do not know what we can expect in terms of performance, or can imagine it now
That 30mbit / s in the download are the highest he has to offer, since I got values like 100 and 200 about half a year ago. I also notice in online games that I often have lags (no fps crashes but high latency)
It is difficult to analyze from a distance without structured numerical data, even technical data for the 710 are practically no longer available
Is there anything i can say as a comment that could possibly help?
There's an adapter with Wi-Fi connection how is the nominal status, the connection speed
Where exactly can I look it up?
