Has happened on vacation, since then I can't call it again, the display has disappeared from the taskbar. The usual way via: WIN-I, Personalization - Taskbar and then "icons on the taskbar" does not work, because there the entry "power supply" is missing, so it is not callable.
Are there any other options?
The problem described above could have various causes. From my own experience, several similar conflicts are known to me. Finding the causal cause could be quite difficult in a particular case…
For a Windows machine, the system default would be the ultima ratio. If the space provided is still generously sized (as set by the manufacturer), an earlier item (off) can be selected. Normally the symbol should be present again after execution. However, this procedure will also cause current updates or newly installed programs to be lost again. A reboot is estimated to have already been tried. Was the laptop for a while without battery and power supply? Then all programs will not work for me anymore because the date is 2029; -) I even have a folder with files in the future.
Windows behaves from time to time a bit strange… Information without guarantee!
Causal solution; -). Redundancy does not necessarily have to be here.
Did you consider the hint from Microsoft?
Notes: You may have to
Show hidden icons on the taskbar before you can select the battery icon
I have! "Hidden icons", I find this hint also not on the taskbar.
The point is currently called (Win 10, build 17134) "activate or deactivate system icons" - different names in the help text and in the program are among the things that make the help unusable for just those who need them
