Laptop battery indicator flashes even when it's off?

The battery indicator light on my laptop flashes constantly, even when it is switched off or shut down. Is that normal?

Tr

Yes that is normal.

Unplug the charger and it will go out.

Ea

The charging cable is just not there. He always flashes. Could it be that I was hacked?

Co

My laptop is from Asus and when it is shut down, a very small lamp lights up on the battery indicator. I don't think that's the case with every laptop, but you don't have to worry about it. Has the light been flashing since you got it or only recently?

Tr

Don't exaggerate, it's just a technical error, or maybe belongs. Even so.

Why would a hacker change your battery indicator light.

Presumably the display simply indicates whether there's still power in the battery.

Ea

I think only for a while…

Tr

Do you vlt. Still the instruction manual?

It could contain what the little light means.

But yeah, I already said what I think it means.

Co

Then it's best to ask where you bought it. They can usually help. If it is older and you no longer know where it was, or if you ordered it on the Internet, I would go to a specialist shop and have it checked. At least I would. Good luck with the matter. But I don't think your computer is broken.

Ea

That's right, I could have a look. I just don't quite understand how it can be that a lamp flashes when the laptop is not on? That's why I'm afraid that it is actually still on (i.e. Microphone or camera) because I was hacked or something. But is that rather unrealistic as you say?

ta

Please refer to the user manual.
There's no uniform standard.

Ea

Okay, but could it be that I was hacked and someone is bugging me or something?

Ea

Or a virus?

Tr

I would say very unrealistic. If the fan is not running, the processor is off. And the rest of the PC won't run without a processor. Not at all any programs that could record what.

Ea

Okay thank you very much! I forgot to mention that there's also a red cross on my battery meter on the screen. But I still don't understand how a lamp can blink for so long. At some point the battery should be completely empty and nothing works without battery / power?

Tr

Such a small lamp needs almost no electricity. Especially when it flashes, because then it is off most of the time. Electricity is only required when it flashes.

The battery should last for weeks.

ta

Am I correctly interpreting that you prefer it if I guess wildly?
I can do it if you value it.
