Minecraft does not start what to do?

Minecraft does not start for me. It means nothing, it just does not open. I have restarted my laptop and reinstalled Minecraft but it does not work! Does anyone know what I can do?

If you do not have a backup, then you can play it back as a test (Restore) and then piecemeal play back the Windows updates.

After every update Minecraft will start, if it works, the next update.
If that eventually causes problems, then this last update is the cause.
