So I have the Minecraft launcher on my laptop and then redeemed the code for Minecraft on the website. Now I should download the launcher again. Then came a window where it said I already have it and so far. The window closed and now I don't know how to find the game because I logged into the launcher with my data and now I can't find the game.

If you are already in the launcher, then press "play". Then the launcher loads, a Mojang status window (red) opens and loads the game. Then you can choose whether single player or multiplayer. Add the desired servers and you can log in there.
