I wanted to download Discord on my laptop for school, but it doesn't work.
A window opens with "Installation has failed" and I'm asked to open the setup log, of which I have no idea and it is simply incomprehensible to me what is there.
Maybe someone had the same problem and knows what to do?
I previously had the MobileDiscord PTB app from the Microsoft store, but then I wanted the right program.
I also googled and on CHIP they just said I should delete all folders where "discord" is in% appdata & and% localappdata%, in "Programs and I should restart the laptop, but I was able to delete almost nothing and it has Nothing has changed, except that some javascript now opens when you restart!
Would be nice if anyone could help me who is familiar with Windows and technology.
My friend also had the problem of simply deleting the Discord folder

Click Windows + R and type% appdata% in this field
Then click Windows Explorer. Search for the folder name "Discord" and delete this folder. If you don't find anything there, click Windows Key + R again and this time you type% localappdata%
Then Windows Explorer opens again. Look for the folder name "Discord" there and delete it. Then you should be able to install Discord again
Unfortunately I could not uninstall anything because then a window opens that says that the file is open somewhere else without anything else being open on my PC! I have now uninstalled Discord from my Control Panel, but these folders are all still there, and I don't understand that.
