PC or laptop
Can one in my opinion not quite compare, since each device (at least for me) has a different purpose.
The PC is mainly used for gaming and the notebook for office / music production or where mobility plays an important role.
But there are also gaming notebooks.
So I use a high-quality laptop at the "PC workstation".
That's why I connected an extra keyboard and a big monitor. Use a "Dockingstation" (thus also with power supply and LAN connection).
Advantage is, I have everything on a device (in addition a USB hard disk and a Blue Ray drive), that I can take both to events (LAN party) as well as with on vacation.

P.S.: Use a "convertible" - so also usable as a tablet!
Yes, but PC's are upgradeable. Notebooks are nearly unusable in 2 years in terms of gaming, furthermore, they are much more expensive and usually still offer less performance.
With PC's you can simply upgrade the Graka, with laptops. Rather less
Exactly as already written notebooks come because of the many disadvantages for gaming not at all in question.
I'm on the road a lot because of my work, that's why I like to spend a bit more money on laptops
That's why I think that so I have my gaming laptop always after 2 years at the latest eBay eBay and of the proceeds + Bissel on it pay a new purchase, on my current running most games only marginally worse than my big
Apart from that cost really useful graphics cards now synonymous already 500Teuro alone (under a RTX 2070 I would not go, because I would at least the performance of my GTX 1070 TI would want to update a AMD / ATI cards comb because of the lack of ray tracing for me currently not in Question)
