On the manufacturer's website you will only find drivers for Windows 7 for the notebook.

It is a TravelMate 7730. It is only a little dusty, but otherwise in very good condition.

Installed Win 10 that went off like Schmidt's cat…

Unless unusual devices are installed, Win 10 has all drivers on board.

How much ram and what CPU is in it exactly? Under 4GB you don't even have to start and 8GB are recommended for Win10. If necessary, an SSD in if not yet in it. Then it could be something with Win10.
