Good afternoon,
on the picture you can see it right away… On the far left of my screen an artist has got to work. It started with a green stripe, but as soon as I closed the laptop and opened it again, everything was full.
It's not because of my graphics card, because nothing can be seen on the television. I read something on a display cable, but wouldn't it affect the entire screen?
I would go for repairs, but I also need the laptop for my studies. By the way, he's only 10 months old. Does anyone have a tip and know where something like this comes from? Very frustrating.
One of the internal flex cables will probably have a loose connection or maybe parts of the TFT matrix will be broken.
If you're lucky, you can press a little on the screen frame and it'll get better. Otherwise it's just a warranty damage. So you can return it to the dealer or send it to the manufacturer and they have to have it repaired.
I think there's such a small problem with the guarantee. I've put in memory and opened the case before, so the manufacturer probably won't find that great.
If I already press lightly, more stripes will appear. Not that good, is it?
If there's a small flap in the case for the RAM, where you can only access the RAM, this should not invalidate the guarantee. The flap is there especially so that you can expand the memory. In addition, it is independent of the monitor problem. So you didn't break the monitor by expanding the memory. I would just try.
OK. I don't know my way around that well, but can't people from the repair service do the same? Otherwise I would first inquire there, as I can't do without the device for long.
It may well be that they can do it too. But they definitely have to open the laptop. After that, the guarantee is gone.
Okay, definitely thanks.
