Yes you can. The professionals also develop something on normal PCs and laptops.
Mostly in a team and with a version control system that runs on a server.
If "you" have the necessary programming knowledge, then yes. With your question, I assume that you have no corresponding knowledge.
Start learning a programming language.
Just have to be able to design and program.
Others learn faster, others more difficult. But I would just say it's a long way to go!

In theory, yes. However, it may be too complex for you and it will take you much longer than planned.

It's hard to say. But you can assume that hundreds of developers usually work on such projects - and not beginners. Doing all of this alone should take a long time.

If you make months out of the months, that's more likely to happen… After all, you go to school (or work) on the side and you want to sleep too…

No… But I tried it, it was years ago. Then at some point I didn't feel like it anymore.
