Short to me, at the moment I'm doing art (etc.) As a hobby. Have experience in actually many areas of normal as sketching and working on screens, but also digital art, for which I already own a graphics tablet.
Actually, I have two questions.
My first question is a bit more general, because I'm looking for a good community or maybe a forum or a platform where I can communicate with artists (hobby / professional) (origin no matter) in terms of tools, materials, resources and possibly even show work and to be able to evaluate. (Know Pinterest but more eig. Not)
To my actual concern.
I'm more and more eager to work digitally, but I travel a lot or rarely have the motivation to sit in front of my big computer when I'm at home and only use photos (etc) as resources. I would like to be free and that's why I'm looking for an alternative to work on the go or not so bound. After a research on my part, I found many products but no really good comparisons in this quite specific requirement area.
Since I already own a pretty good laptop, I'm not a fan of mine, for example. Something like a Surface to buy. I rather imagine a pure tablet with good stylus support.
Hope my concern is understandable.
Maybe a surface pro would be something for you. Depending on the budget, these are in good used condition even at affordable prices.
From the third generation of the surface pro you should keep your hands off as they have these problems with their waste heat and by thermal throttling they are even slower than the devices of the 2nd gen
