Log into minecraft with your Mojang account on the browser and then you should be able to download it
Since https://www.minecraft.net/...e/download and stop Java8.
And generally there's also a "forgot password" option.
Once you've bought Minecraft from Minecraft.net and signed in with the account, you can install Minecraft for free. You then have to click on buy and then see if you can find something with "You already have Minecraft?"
