I have an older laptop and I have a problem. Whenever I put headphones in there, the sound is very, very quiet. When I put it out again it is normal again. Is it broken?
You can adjust the sound for earphones in the settings.

I just bought a new laptop, but you could try connecting the laptop with a good Bluetooth sound box or an external speaker - maybe it will be better

"Control Panel". Open "Sound", select it, select it according to your ear height, go to Properties, increase the LS with the "Level" control.

But surely you have another bar above the keyboard? Look thereā¦ Possibly 3 keys next to each other?
Crossed out loudspeaker - sound off - small loudspeaker = quieter larger LS = louder?
Or the possibility to change the volume at the bottom right?
