Why is my mousepad no longer working after volume reduction?

I have some weird / absurd issues with my laptop that I would like to have solved. I hope someone can tell me what they are due to.

It is a Lenovo Thinkpad E460.

If I reduce the volume with the F key, my mousepad will not work anymore. If I then increase the volume again, the mousepad will work again.
I can't exactly regulate by how much I reduce the volume, since the combi with FN button, the controller just goes down rapidly. On the other hand, I can regulate it exactly when setting up the sound.
The C, for example, can only be capitalized with the shift and shift keys on the left side, I use the keyboard for that, the keyboard does not touch anything. For all other letters, everything works fine.
If I turn the laptop into energy-saving mode or if I just shut it up, the fan sometimes turns and the laptop does not visibly calm down.
If I shut down the laptop, it can happen after a few seconds that he simply starts again. This sometimes happens at night and the next morning the battery is empty.

I know that the problems all sound pretty absurd, but maybe a connoisseur can help me with the source of the problem.

This initially sounds like faulty drivers. Are all drivers as well as Windows up to date? If so, re-download and reinstall the drivers from the manufacturer side.

If it is new and the problem persists right from the beginning, you should contact Lenovo Support, in the worst case you will get a faultless device through replacement.

If the issues have recently occurred, select a recovery point in Control Panel and boot to it.

Are third-party programs installed that control power settings or keyboard shortcuts? If so, temporarily disable or remove altogether.

Please share your questions. Every problem a question. As for mousepad and the buttons. Look at the configuration. Maybe the button has multiple functions.

Unfortunately, Win 10 has a nasty bug I experienced myself that has been posted here a few times. Keys do not do what they should under a particular account. It only helped to create a new account. If the buttons work there, then take over the user dorhin.
