With this size you will probably have to resort to a netbook.

The smallest laptops I know are 13 ", netbooks are much smaller.
On laptop you can work with Excel and Word, on netbook.
The main thing is that it is no bigger than 10.3 inches, the hard drive is big enough for Microsoft Office and the printer driver, has 2 interfaces and I need to be able to use it easily at home, in the library or at school, so it has to be space saving and fit in my backpack.

Unfortunately it is too big. I still have a thick DIN A 4 folder, once care today and a Pschyrembel that I have to take.

Netbooks are just junk… Lousy performance, tiny screen, nasty little keyboard, almost no trackpad, very clipped interface selection, etc. And so on

There's nothing under 13 inches which is reminiscent of a nromales PC.
As I said, the netbooks are not good but probably what you want.
