I'm looking for a good laptop and wanted to ask for good suggestions. I also wanted to ask if you need a gaming laptop + accessories if you want to play on it or if you can also use a normal one.
My criteria:
enough storage space
DVD drive
Wi-Fi
compatible with games
Not a chunky part
It shouldn't be priceless and not too cheap either.
"compatible with games"
Which one? If you want to play current titles on reasonable settings, that costs easily 900 euro upwards. In the case of "lighter fare", an iGPU, e.g. Vega 8. That then costs less.
"I also wanted to ask whether you need a gaming laptop + accessories if you want to play games on it, or whether you can also use a normal one."
It does not have to be explicitly called gaming, but laptops with the appropriate equipment are usually advertised as such. However, a lot is also advertised as gaming that is no good at all. A mouse is definitely a must, and depending on the game, a headset would also be a great advantage.
Gaming is not a protected term but simply a marketing term. Often enough, unfortunately, it is also used improperly for the last scrap.
Please be a little clearer with your criteria.
Enough Storage: What's Enough For You? Apart from playing, what do you plan to do with the device? Some 256GB are enough to add one or two games to it, others demand 1TB and still attach an external hard drive because the memory is not enough.
Wi-Fi: luckily every device has it.
Compatible with games: and this is where things get exciting. Because the question is what kind of games. Please give some concrete examples or requirements that you have in mind. Even an inexpensive entry-level computer can handle a 10-year-old title or an undemanding browser game without much effort. A Fifa21 requires a little more computing power. An Assassin's Creed also requires a powerful dedicated graphics card. And with "Minimum 60 FPS at 4K resolution" you have the most expensive of the expensive. Depending on the requirements of the games, we're talking about a price range that starts at around 400-500 euro and ends around 3000 euro. The point is kept very general.
The mobility factor should be clarified, especially when buying a notebook. How important is the battery life, should the device be compact and flexibly transportable for everyday use, or the main thing is it should be large and power on the desk at home?
DVD drive inside, and yet not clunky contradicts itself very hard. I would rather advise you to use an external DVD drive, it saves a lot of weight and makes the laptop quieter and lighter.
OK I haven't thought about it yet bisher
Not only should it now have two hours of battery life, but it doesn't have to run for six hours either. I don't actually plan to transport it, but it should be possible if I need this laptop somewhere else. So it would mostly be on the desk at home. Our television has 4k, but I don't see any real difference to the normal picture, so I don't think so. 3d images are also not required. Games I have given examples above, but it should also be possible to play online games…
Is 1170 euro in your budget? https://geizhals.de/...de&hloc=pl
I had picked something for you, but i don't know your budget: https://geizhals.de/...de&hloc=pl
This one could also do it: https://geizhals.de/...de&hloc=pl in the year 1800 you reach your limits at some point during the game that the processor is no longer sufficient
Thank you very much
Pleased to
Yes are in there, thanks again
Well, then take this one with the i7 processor to be on the safe side. It's just a little heavier, but it is definitely enough. And be careful not to pinch or kink the power cable, otherwise 1. The charging cable will break and 2. The power socket in the laptop. And get yourself a laptop pillow if you want to use your lap, otherwise the fan draws too much dust
