I've started to play Minecraft since the last time… Unfortunately I had to find out that the fps never went above 35 despite an AMD rx 580 that should actually manage it. My friend's laptop (not a gaming laptop) sometimes has over 100 fps and I'm hanging around on my 30. Have already assigned more RAM… Priority set to high, energy saving plan set higher, optifine used, nothing helps… Can somebody help?
Turn everything off in the graphics settings or to the lowest
Go to the video settings and select the FPS number. I prefer Unlimited. You can also choose to have it in VSync.
Do everything in the graphics settings as low as possible. Then look to see if you have set FPS to Max in the settings. If you're still having problems, download the Lunar Client or Bad Lion Client. They'll give you another 100 FPS boost.
Set VSync and the FPS limit in the Minecraft graphics settings.
