As of now I have a "gamer laptop" with a GTX850m and an i7 4710HQ. Since the device is already 6 years old and makes strange noises, I want to get a PC for about 700 euro.
I play: GTA 4, 5, World of Tanks, Cities Skylines. My laptop handles all these games on medium settings with 30-40 FPS.
Well, my new PC should run these games on high settings at ~ 60Fps.
Which Cpu / Gpu would you recommend for this?
When it came to the CPU, I thought of the Ryzen 5 3600. Does it fit?
And with the GPU to an RTX 2060? Or a GTX 1660S / TI?
Or a completely different GPU? But please from Nvida.
I'll take care of the other required components later.
The ryzen 5 3600 is a very good CPU, with this you can even run a 3090 without a bottleneck.
At the moment the 2080ti is simply overpriced in my opinion, I would rather buy the new 3060ti or 3070 if they are not sold out.
Alternatively, in my opinion, I would also use a 1660ti.
My proposition:
The 3600 fits well. For the graphics card, I would use the 5600 (XT) from AMD. It's faster than the 1660s. And the branding with Nvidia / AMD is really unnecessary.
I would recommend Ryzen 5 3600 and ne 1070 / Vega 56. Since the prices are currently very high, I would wait.
Then look at the prices: 3070: 700 euro etc…
The ENTIRE PC should cost 700 euro…
Read the question…
Well, that with the bottleneck depends entirely on the game, resolution and settings.
In FHD your 3600 bottlenecks in almost every game.
Yeah sure! Simply recommend graphics cards that are more expensive than the PC.
Just think about it.
Console. For the price you don't get any comparable PC hardware
I don't want a console.
And what about the RTX 2060?
Oh, I made a prescription. With the 3060ti he would have to add a bit, but I meant the 1660, normally not ti…
Sorry, but thanks for pointing out!
Then you can only wait until the components become cheaper.
Edit, the normal 1660, not the ti.
With the 3070 or 3060ti you would have to add a bit, but you would have accordingly more power, especially in games like GTA 5.
Yes, just want to put the components together.
Oh yes, I was only thinking about FullHD and possibly 4K and WQHD.
And for ne 2080ti or 3070 too. It has nothing to do with prescribing. The problem is that a 360ti costs over 500 euro. At 700 euro for the whole PC…
"Disappointments of 2019" by GamersNexus. The card is bad and has poor ray tracing performance.
The standard version of the 3060 ti only costs 399 euro?
With the ryzen 5 3600 with my board etc you would have to add 100 euro, so 800 euro.
Haha. This is the RRP…
But not in real life: https://geizhals.de/...&bl1_id=30
Yes, if the normal standard version were not sold out, you could buy it for 400 euro.
Well I don't need ray tracing and it's not bad in terms of performance.
It's not called the standard version. But Founders Edition. And it was clear to everyone that it was sold out immediately. Like all other cards are. At least in the FE…
Plus, only 400 euro would be left for the rest…
Yes that's true. Was a bit stupid of me to put it that way xd
For the price it does. Schaumal here: https://geizhals.de/...mp=2211494
More graphics cores and a higher turbo boost…
That actually says it all.
Console is the stupidest thing a person can do…
It's individual, I would buy a Playstation just because of the good exclusive titles.
