Cities Skylines runs smoothly on this PC?

I would like to buy a new PC to play Cities Skylines because my old gaming laptop with 8 GB Ram no longer packed the mods. Now I want to switch to the PC and have one in mind. Only I do not know whether I can play smoothly with the CS on high graphics with over 300 mods and also LARGE cities (over 1-2 million inhabitants) without it jerky. Here's the data

-AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 6x 3.60 Ghz

-Nvidia Geforce RTX2060 6GB

-16GB DDR4 2400Mhz RAM

Price: 899 euro

Believe so much detail would be enough to answer the question.

Yes, that should work. I'm just not 100% sure that the 16GB RAM can become scarce. I also play the game with 16GB RAM, but I only have 10 mods or something.

Edit: 2400MHz are not enough, so you slow down the processor massively. It should be 3200MHz.

So play it safe and put a shovel on it?

An

Yes, I would suggest.

For really good performance, I would suggest the following:

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
16GB (or 32GB) Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 3200MHz
GeForce RTX2060 or GTX1660Ti

Regarding the processor, you can easily travel with a Ryzen 5 2600X. I have the same processor and despite various mods to improve traffic calculation, I don't even begin to use it. In addition, CS utilizes the individual cores relatively evenly, so that the Ryzen can show its strength there. You could think about jumping directly into the new generation and opting for a Ryzen 5 3600 that is significantly faster, but it also costs a whole bite to eat. It is unnecessary for CS, but if you have other plans in the future, it may ultimately be worth it.

For the graphics card, I would especially rely on a large VRAM, since CS must have many textures ready if you have installed many additional buildings. Therefore, you should consider choosing a graphics card with 8 GB VRAM. The actual performance depends on the resolution in which you play. With Full HD a 2060 is not absolutely necessary. A 1660 Super would also work, but unfortunately you would have to limit yourself to 6 GB VRAM. If you want to stay in the same performance category as the 2060, you could take the 2060 Super with 8 GB (but again a bit more expensive) or for almost the same price as the 2060 the AMD 5700, also with 8 GB.

16 GB should be the minimum for RAM. I even went to 32 GB, but CS is also the only game that has benefited from it so far. So you have to consider whether the surcharge is worth it in monetary terms. In any case, it should clock at more than 2400 MHz. 3000 MHz is optimal for the 2nd generation Ryzen. Unfortunately, such slow memory bars are often found in prefabricated PCs. Will not make a break for CS now, since the processor is not stressed so much anyway, but it is simply nonsensical for the small price difference in RAM to curtail the performance of the Ryzen.

Hope to have helped you.

Thank you very much, I have now upgraded or rescheduled

-AMD Ryzen 5 3600

-Geforce RTX 2070 8GB

-16 GB 3000MHz

Maybe I'll get the 32 GB of RAM, but would this be enough here?

Sure, you are well positioned even with WQHD resolution. With the 3rd Ryzen generation, you could even tease out a little more with RAM clock rates of 3200 or 3600 MHz, if available and not significantly more expensive.
