Cities Skylines lies behind a new gaming laptop?

I'm getting to the end of my Latin… I bought a new gaming laptop because my old one couldn't cope with the games. I noticed that especially with Cities: Skylines. There it was very jerky but was playable so far.

With the new laptop, it is even the case that the response is extremely delayed (or not at all) when I click on something. For example, I can't change anything in the game's options. Here the game stops responding. I didn't have that even with my old laptop and it is not designed for gaming.

I also did all the updates and also looked for the latest drivers and installed them. Nothing has changed.

I bought this laptop:

I downloaded Cities: Skylines from Steam.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

But you have expectations for a 500 euro laptop that is slimmed down

"gaming" laptop aha.

It doesn't even have a dedicated graphics unit. This is a great office notebook. Can also be used rudimentarily for games like CSGO or fortnite. But it's not a gaming laptop.

This laptop has no dGPU. That cities skylines and other games don't run smoothly is normal.

This is an office device and not a gaming laptop.
