When to buy a gaming laptop?

Hi, I was thinking of selling my older tower pc for little money and adding something to buy a gaming laptop for 1000 euro - 1500 euro. Since pc parts etc are very expensive at the moment, I wanted to ask your mekning whether this also applies to gaming laptops. I can't wait for several months until something happens or not. Needs something relatively soon. Hence my question buy now or wait until January or does that make no difference?

Better buy a PC for 1000-1500 euro when the parts are cheaper. Which will probably be at the end of February / beginning of March
