Gaming laptop or gaming PC? - 1

I wanted to buy a gaming laptop or gaming PC. But I don't really know whether to buy a PC or a laptop because I found a very good PC and a very good laptop. I don't want to spend that much money either ('' only '' about 400-500 euro). I think a laptop would be pretty good because I can take it with me everywhere, but a PC would also be very good. What do you all mean?

Someone said to me that a laptop won't work so well after a few years and a PC will. Is that correct?

What should I buy from the two under this sentence? Please vote in the poll!

This is the PC that I will eventually buy: https://hardwarerat.de/...windows-10

And that is the laptop that I will eventually buy: https://www.amazon.de/...076B711RD/

What do you want to gamble on a 400 - 500 euro laptop? Gta V on low settings? So your budget is quite low, and that's where the PC makes the most sense.

And the linked laptop no longer exists, and the new model costs 1200 euro, a laptop with a GTX 1060 does not cost 400 euro

Funny. I have an offer there for 450 euro

Definitely a PC, even if you can't get a real "gaming" PC for the price

With a PC you can improve components or change them yourself after a few years with a laptop this is quite difficult.

In addition, you always get more performance with a PC than with a laptop in every price range.

I would advise you to build one yourself so that you can get the most out of your budget.

If you don't know exactly which components belong together, take a look at the PC Part picker page

Had to read correctly, "used"

Instead of the PC with its internal graphics card, you could use the Ryzen 5 3400 without g. To take. It's a few euro cheaper and then you pack a 2 + tb HDD in and a 1660 Super and then you have a very good PC with which you can play all current games.

A gaming laptop (currently) doesn't make sense. The performance limits of the laptop are much higher than that of a PC. In other words, you get less gaming management for the money and sometimes you can't even start graphically demanding games (at least in this price range).

I would rather take the pc. But I wouldn't recommend a pc for this price. Better save and get one for 600-800 euro.

A few things, on the one hand the laptop is used here, the desktop is new, on the other hand I don't think the seller on Amazon is very serious either (only one review).

That said, in this case the laptop is more powerful, on the one hand because it is still very cheap even for a used device and on the other hand because the linked PC from hardwarerat is not good.

Otherwise, if you put it together yourself, you can get a more powerful PC for 500 euro; if you look used, like with a laptop, you can get much more powerful desktop PCs for around 500 euro.
