I have an MSI GL72M 7Rex gaming laptop, and although all parts of my laptop should be good enough, the game has etreme lag spikes. From one second to the next, I go from 40fps to 3fps for 1 second, which leads to a still picture. I have:
Intel Core i7
Geforce GTX 1050Ti
We're the temperatures?
Update drivers maybe
I have already updated drivers. Unfortunately without success
Is that only in gta or in all games?
The temperatures during the game are around 75 degrees. I already put the laptop on a couple of books to stimulate the ventilation
This not only happens in GTA but also in other demanding games (e.g. ARK, COD Warzone), but I play Gta most often
An underbody fan for the laptop would not be a bad investment. Also because your lap stays nice and cool.
Has it always been like this?
Unfortunately I didn't play any such games before, but I could imagine that the performance will deteriorate
Warzone or something your laptop can't pack anyway. With Gta I would simply set the graphics settings to low and deactivate everything and I would still deactivate gsync if it is activated
A MacBook from 2015 packs GTA. There has to be something different than weak hardware.
