I would like to get a gaming setup and wanted to use a soundbar for the sound. Since I often play online with friends, I also use a team peak (Discord) where I talk about headphones. How can I now connect all three (laptop, monitor, soundbar) so that I only have the sound of the game via the soundbar and only hear my fellow players on my headphones and not the game sound.
Monitor via cable to the Lappi (HDMI or better Displayport)
Sound output device in the TS → headphones (for USB headphones)
Windows sound output → soundbar
But then it will be fun for your friends to hear your game sound in TS.
You set the inputs and outputs in the respective software. In your case, the general sound via the soundbar (Windows should do this automatically) and Discord uses your headset.
