Hello dear Community & PC specialists,

I have an urgent question…

& though. I bought a new PC today. Who didn't have an internet driver at first. Then I downloaded one. Then it went to Google, I could google but then when I wanted to go to YouTube it broke off.

Then I looked for Windows drivers and updates on the Internet.

And loaded it onto my USB stick (downloaded from my father's laptop) and then installed a driver.

Then it came out that it was successful or something, I don't remember exactly anymore and I should shutdown the PC to activate it. Now I can't get it anymore. Or that comes here. See image

I would guess that the order of the boats got mixed up. Repairing them is not a problem. Maybe it's because of other things? What operating system does your PC have? Can you at least start it in safe mode?

If you don't know what to do, do the following:

Do you have a recovery point? Do not think, if so, put him back to the point.
Otherwise, download the USB stick Win10 with the tool and reinstall Win, mostly the better version, especially if you are not familiar with it

I have windows XP professional on it and this is an optiplex 330 from dell. No does not work in safe mode

Are you serious? A blue screen and you suspect wrong boot sequence and also ask which operating system for a WIN-BSOD?

I have windows XP professional

With Windows XP I would no longer be on the Internet.

Back then I had the same problem, my screen displayed exactly the same and it was because of the boot order. I can only speak of what it was with me. I'm not a specialist in this area and only try to help if this is possible.

Why not

This message comes from Windows. It is also there. If the boot sequence were wrong, an error message like "no-system or disk error" would appear. Since the error message also says "Windows was shut down", it is also clear what kind of operating system it is. The blue background with white text is Windows-typical anyway.

Could be good that your drivers are broken, I would reinstall Windows.

Au

Does that work on my PC Windows 10? So to put it on there or not? And how am I supposed to do it? I only get to the bluescreen

Au

But how if I only get to the bluescreen how can I reinstall it? My PC doesn't have a DVD drive. But would have a separate one to insert with a USB stick

I recently bought a laptop without a (working) OS. Booting from a Linux DVD from a Linux magazine (gratifying that you have a USB DVD LW) took 2 minutes. Since everything (office, web, mail, browser, photo editor, VLC, multimedia…) worked with it in live mode, I installed Linux. Fortunately, Linux does not need any activation, no virus scanner, no payment key, no drivers and it is free of charge - with much better features than the meager Windows.

There's a free download of the full version for unlimited use at linuxmint.com

So, before the blue screen can come from Windows, Windows must first be loaded by the BIOS that is on your main board. So you can simply load Windows onto a stick or DVD on a second computer and then select the stick or DVD as boot option / device in the BIOS if the computer does not start automatically from the stick or DVD, and so simply restart Windows install, but first save all important data!
