Buying a laptop in 2020?

I'm looking for a new laptop. Maybe you have a few ideas and know good models.
I mainly need it for university. So it should be a bit lighter and like a 15.6 inch screen.
I would also like to gamble a bit. I was thinking of an i7 processor. Between 700 to 1000 euro.

Gambling is a broad term. So runs out on a gaming laptop. Does it have to be a Core i7? The Ryzen mobile processors are also very strong and would be worthwhile here.

The Ryzen 7 3750H is not that much better

If I were you I would be waiting for the Ryzen 4000 notebooks that will appear on the market in the next 1-2 months.
