I have the problem that I have a file on my laptop that can't be deleted. When I click on "delete" it says "item not found". Even if I click on "Repeat process", the file is not deleted. I have no idea what to do about it 😬
Most of the time the file has already been deleted, but is still displayed. Rebooting can help.

Often these are also links that have been created during work but can't be deleted. After a reboot, the file is almost certainly gone.
In my decades of experience, this indicates a dying hard drive, you should now take the chance to save important data on a USB stick or external hard drive before the HDD is no longer readable. In addition, I would strongly recommend reading the Windows key with a software like "pkeyuibx.exe" so that you can reactivate the previously installed Windows after replacing the hard disk.
