Forgot HDD password, what can I do?

After a long time, I found my laptop again. He is still running. Now this is still a password in it. I tried everything possible, but nothing works anymore.

Can I somehow handle the password?

or delete the Hdd completely?

I've done that before with an older version on a Win7 PC, it's pretty simple.
Instructions are, as the pictures show, available on the desktop as PDF files.

Everything is deleted completely with a Win reinstallation.
