The following problem… My mother-in-law has the laptop mentioned above, with Windows 8.1.

When logging in we now have to enter the password several times, and the answer is, Password is wrong. 😤

Important updates are available at the bottom right. (See pictures)

But I can't open any PC settings as it says there🙄🤦♀️😭

In addition, there was no Windows CD included at the time, but 8.1 was already preinstalled. The tips on the Internet for creating a USB stick or burning a CD / DVD in order to be able to reset the password do not work, as this is the only PC / laptop in the house, otherwise we use the cell phones🤦♀️🤦♀️

Make the whole system from scratch like when you set up a cell phone from scratch

If you don't have any tools then it won't work. Otherwise everyone could access your protected system. Where would the point of protection be?

So you need a tool.

Get a USB stick and install Windows NEW. However, your data will be lost.

Otherwise, remove the disk and save the data on another PC.
