I know that this question has certainly been asked enough, but to be honest, I don't quite find my way around the topic of laptop technology and I need expert advice.
I'm looking for a good laptop that should last for several years. The price-performance ratio should already be fine if I opt for a new one but would also buy a used one, if that would make sense.
My use looks like this:
I want to surf, watch a few videos, and will use a lot of it for writing. Gambling will be an exception and if only small games then no battlefield level. I often have several windows open, switch between the browser and the text document. Since it should run smoothly. In other words, not intended for anything complex.
So here are my questions that are important to me:
1. Is a new laptop worth it or would a used one make more sense and what should I pay particular attention to when I use it?
2. I picked out a few laptops that would now suffice to my knowledge. What do you say What would you recommend?
- Hp 255g7 with Intelcore i5- 8265u, 256 SSD, 8GB RAM and 12h battery life
- Acer Aspite 5, ryzen 5, 8GB ddr memory, 512 SSD
Your budget is missing that's the crucial lol
If you don't have a lot of money, you can get new ones that will last longer
Have you ever thought about tablets? Office or multimedia is everything, everything is easier, faster and more intuitive to use
You can also get a cheap Chromebook for writing and surfing text documents. They run smoothly for what they should, but run on Chrome OS!
The crucial thing is missing: your budget.
