Damage stickers the laptop?

I recently saw on Pinterest laptops with stickers (like in the picture). Now I plan to buy on redbubble stickers. But I've read that this harms the laptop (heat distribution o. Ä.) Is that true? Or can I stick a few stickers on my laptop (hp) without hesitation?

The screen heats up only slightly during operation, which is why stickers on the back of the screen rather do no damage.

Of course you should not cover the ventilation slots…

However, stickers can possibly attack the paint, so that the laptop after the removal of the sticker is not really nice.
