I have bought a new laptop (hp Specter) and now I would like to paint my own keyboard, so as not to unnecessarily spend money. However I do not know with which colors. I thought the best thing is acrylic paint. Can you use that?
And what pattern should I take. I've already selected some on Pinterest, but these are hard to copy. I have to admit, I'm not the best at painting either. The style should be rather simple, but still look cool.
Would you have any further suggestions?
As an alternative to painting, I would recommend appropriate stickers, which are available for most keyboards. For color, the risk of a new laptop for me would be too high, that because the color is too thick or similar. And thus the keys are no longer usable
When you paint your keyboard, how do you do that with all the characters, letters and numbers and stuff? That's a pagan work?!
If you really want to paint the buttons, then make sure you remove the buttons beforehand… But only if it is possible. If you paint the buttons while they're still on it, there's a chance that paint will go somewhere where you could scrap the whole laptop. And even if you can press the buttons then synonymous without problems, is another question. Guarantee you will lose then also…
You realize that if you paint the keyboard you also paint over the characters? I think normal spray cans should do it, but it would be best to use a stencil, or carefully tape it off. So that you get z.b a strip in a different color. And do not forget to roughen the surface with sandpaper, primer on it, then the paint and finally varnish.
The characters can also paint over it again
