Why is the processor clocking too low?

I have a HP 14-CM0302NG, notebook with 14 inch display, Ryzen 3 processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Radeon Vega 3.

The clock is usually always okay, but sometimes when I reboot it the clock is very low (0.38 ghz). I do not know if it's because of the energy options sometimes, so if I start it for example with more battery efficiency.

I'm already looking forward to your answers.

Co

It LIES to the energy option.

You can, however, manually set the minimum processor load and maximum processor load in%, if the idle clock is too low for you.

co

Many thanks for the answer. Where can I set this exactly?

Ma

Start Prime95 and look how high the CPU clocks.
If it reaches the normal clock, then everything is fine with your CPU and he makes EXACTLY WHAT he wants!

Why is the processor clocking too low
Ma

It brings NOTHING! To raise the idle tact.
Save more temperature and power consumption.

Ma

The picture is for the hard disk, not for the CPU.
That would be more correct here

Co

Ne does not do that much, as with standard settings, the CPU always gets just as much power and clock as it needs.

Ma

Then press Change Power Plan Settings.

Here then raise the minimum value.

The clock depends on the load. When your PC is idle, the clock is low to save power. If you start the program then the CPU automatically starts up. You do not have to worry

co

The problem is even if I start programs the clock remains the same, but when I restart the PC everything is back to normal. It's only sometimes like that. I really wonder why that is.

sn

When you start a game, is it overkill?

co

Yeah, so if I open any program then it's very heavy and the clock stays permanently at 0.38 ghz.
