I have the following problem with my SONY Vaio VPCEF2S1E.
Since the last update, the screen has been black and the keyboard does not work.
As soon as I start the laptop, a sound sounds as always and it also starts up (you can hear the fan as normal) and the status display of the keyboard also flashes twice for all 3 and then stays off, even if you press the caps lock key or similar Presses, nothing lights up.
I already connected my laptop to TV via HDMI, but unfortunately it doesn't work.
What can I do? I tried everything, and I didn't find anything suitable on the internet that resembled my problem.
I had the similar problem with the previous update, but with a strange key combination (think that was ctrl + alt + delete) it started up again and it worked.
Are there other options such as Shortcuts or something?
I'm grateful for any help. Graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 (I mean…) and processor is AMD Phenom II Triple Core P820.
I had this problem yesterday when switching on, but just waiting for me helped (2-3 minutes) and then it showed the login screen as normal and everything else worked without problems.
I let the laptop run for 10 minutes, but it didn't work
