So I have the following problem, my laptop no longer works: I have Windows 7 when the last update came last year 2020, Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft (no security, etc.). When the last update came a few months later my Windows showed me a new update I was surprised. So I made an update and Microsoft Edge came along, I started Edge and all of a sudden everything works except the screen. Since then I don't know what to do, everything works except the screen

Possibly start in safe mode, but I don't know how to do it:-( and try to delete the program.

Does the PC boot when you restart it? Or does the screen stay black?

With Windows 7 I think it also turns on and off 4 times during the boot process

Edge itself shouldn't do that, it's just Windows' own web browser.

Just go back to the last restore point that was before the update was installed.

Regardless, I would never run a laptop on such a dust collector. The laptop sucks all the dirt and dust out of the carpet - it will be nice and clean afterwards, but your device will soon die of dust if it doesn't overheat beforehand.
