I hope you have a tip for my challenge.
So far, I only edit my pictures via Lightroom on my PC. It will stay that way, but from time to time I'd like to work on a laptop and edit some pictures.
Since I'm only allowed to use Lightroom on one device as part of the subscription, I would use the online photo editor on the laptop accordingly.
Does anyone have any experience and knows what to look for when buying? I think the hardware requirements will not be nearly as high as Lightroom itself.
Budget: Since I will not use it as the main tool and I call it more of a luxury problem, I thought that I should get by with 300-400 euro. Maybe even a used device?
That maybe
Fast Ram and a good processor with multiple cores.
Addendum: The Läppi, which I use at the moment has a i5-2520M processor. Apparently with 2.5GHz. I assumed that was definitely enough.
But he has only 4GB of RAM and he only has a "normal" hard drive. No SSD.
But I doubt it's worth it to pick up and upgrade money, right?
Is not Intel, but that does not sound bad. Maybe I can still reconfigure that.
Well, it's better than a competitively priced INTEL. Especially for video editing AMD is a lot better than INTEL.
Looking for a notebook CPU with 4 cores and 8 threads and a relatively strong iGPU for a price of 400 euro… You will not find anything.
