Old photo ad only partially works?

I'm mucking out my photos. And I was so annoyed that deleting individual photos, copying, pasting, etc. Always takes sooo long! I thought the problem was my new laptop. However, yesterday I got the idea to download the old photo ad! According to the instructions from Chip.de via the path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows Photo Viewer \ Capabilities \ FileAssociations" unfortunately it did not work. It only worked with the zip file "Windows-10-Foto Anzeige-nicht-in-Kontextmenue.zip".

However, I bring up some images, while others get the following message: "The image can't be displayed because there may not be enough memory. Close programs that are not in use or free disk space (if the hard disk is almost full). Then try again. "

So it can't be due to the storage space.

I googled a bit now, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything I understand!

Can anyone help me? The old photo ad runs really well, especially sooo fast! Or are there quick alternative photo ads?

Ah, I suspect that's because of the Windows Photo app. Try to open the photos with Paint.

Now the question arises, what "some" pictures are. Certain size? Specific file type? There will surely be a pattern for what it is.

Otherwise I only use the old Windows photo display. I didn't do anything, except set the registry entries. Then right-click on the respective images, open with, select another app, tick the box below, use this app forever and select the old Windows photo display.

Works fine for me with all pictures.

Many Thanks! They are all cell phone photos! The only difference will be that I imported them in different ways! Otherwise they don't differ in size either!

That's right, I can open it with paint! However, Paint does not suit me as a photo display because I never see the entire photo at a glance because it is so big!

Look for a photo app on the internet.
