How do I get audio to my PC when there are no connections?

I have a problem and I hope there's someone who can help me with it.

I have a somewhat older laptop (Elitebook) that somehow doesn't get any audio no matter what I plug in. The sound works fine, even with headphones. But the internal microphone does not work, with headphones via jack and headphones via USB port, the microphone does not work either (although bought new) and Bluetooth does not work as far as I can remember either. As far as I can remember, I never had audio on the used laptop.

The sound settings, system settings, etc. Is it not, my friend and I searched everything for hours.

Did we miss something? Does anyone know their way around and still have an idea? Or can such an audio card "burn out"?

I would be glad if someone can help me!

Does the USB work? Then get yourself a small USB sound card. You can plug in the microphone and headphones there. Costs no 10 euro
