I recently bought the DMX-Master 3-FX and now I want to operate it via audio control. But I do not want to take the built-in microphone, but the cinch input jack on the back, which is also for audio control. Now my question: Can I make an audio connection to my DMX controller from a XENYX X1222USB mixer via audio cable, or do I need to connect it to the laptop, which supplies the music for the mixer. If one of both is possible, I would like to know what kind of cable I would need and if it goes over the mixer, which sockets I have to take. (XLR connections are busy) thanks;)

Auto Beat then about Cinch Audio I would say
Thanks, but I realize that. My concern is that I do not know which output I have to take on my mixer to get a connection via audio cable
About Mon Send, FX Send or best for you would probably be 2-track. So the cinch outs. One is enough.
Thanks @StefanAumueller. Do you mean a Y-cable from the two cinch outs to the audio input of the DMX controller or a simple cable that starts from just a cinch out?
Y you do not need. Mono is enough. But do not expect too much!
Thanks for the help 😊
Zero problem. I have already dealt with it. Do you use a DJ software? I use the MIDI clock from Virtual DJ internally routed in a light program. So my light is 100% in timing. 😊
No, I'm still at the beginning. Everything is manual for me
