Transfer laptop image to normal PC screen?

I broke my laptop screen some time ago. Since it is now very cumbersome to use this, I wanted to ask if there was the possibility with any cable to transfer the image from the laptop to a normal screen?

If yes how? Would I just need a PC screen or the actual computer turned on for that?

Normally you only need a VGA connection to your laptop and your monitor, as well as a VGA cable (there are already a few euro on the Internet).

Then you just have to use the keyboard shortcut "Win + P" (assuming you have Windows) to mirror the screen onto the monitor.

My laptop does not have a VGA connection. Are there any cost-effective adapters to connect to?

The answer should actually be in your user manual of the laptop.

To activate the graphics output (VGA or HDMI, etc.) for an external monitor, some laptops require a specific Fn key combination.

On the Internet, there would be various, because you have to watch what comes closest for you. But also again, if another possibility would be for you.

Almost every laptop has a VGA, DVI, HDMI or DP output. Just take a look, with this finish you can to your monitor or TV device.

Need only the necessary cable.
