My laptop sometimes throws my mouse, even if I insert another mouse, the laptop does not respond to the mouse. Only when I restart the laptop everything works again. The mouse is displayed in Device Manager. The touchpad also works normally.
Windows 10
What do you want with mice in the laptop too? They just nibble on your components…
Seriously, it would be important to know whether it does this for all USB ports or only for some? Try to uninstall the drivers via the Device Manager and then unplug the mouse. Then download and install the driver from the manufacturer and try again.
Throw out the HID-compliant mouse in the device manager (uninstall one or all incl. The inactive ones), but leave the MousePad there! Then restart.
If you accidentally uninstalled the mouse pad, then force a restart by pressing the on / off button on the laptop for 5 seconds.
Before the action in the device manager under VIEW select the selection "Show hidden devices" and really remove all mice.
After the restart, all USB mice should work without any problems.
P.S.: the next time you write something about the devices you use (TYPE, version etc.), so that you can be better helped without guessing.
