I have my final oral exam next week (industrial clerk) and am, among other things, extremely excited about the construction of my devices.
We (two other trainees) will go to school tomorrow to try everything in the room, but I just wanted to ask if anyone has an idiot-proof explanation / instructions on how to connect the laptop to the projector and everything set up that I see on the desktop, but the picture is also on the wall. (I don't want to do anything complicated. I only have a normal PowerPoint presentation)
I take the laptop from my work and the projector from school, so I don't really know what devices it is. I still hope that someone can give me a general explanation in which order and how I have to plug, switch on and set everything so that everything runs smoothly.
You plug your laptop into the projector, be it HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI or you know what. Then you duplicate your screen. Finished!
PowerPoint also gives you the option of showing the presentation on the projector with an enlarged instead of a duplicated screen and presentation with notes on the laptop for you.
About the HDMI cable- I think!
Modern devices (laptop and projector) have HDMI connections. Just put it together and you're done.
How exactly do I duplicate the desktop? I still remember that I have to right-click on the desktop and then I don't know where to go.
You right click on the desktop and then go to display settings and select Duplicate this display.
