I have a new HP ProBook notebook here. Win 10.
The notebook has an HDMI port, which I assume is an output, e.g. To connect a projector.
But when I look in the display settings where I can select the HDMI port for the image output, there's nothing.
There's "Display 1", which is what the notebook monitor is.
There's no other option such as "Display 2", "HDMI" or anything else.
There are a few keys with monitor symbols, but they don't do anything, not even with Fn, Ctrl, Shift or the like.
If I just connect the projector, nothing happens. The projector does not receive a signal and the image on the notebook remains completely normal.
What can I change, where can I press around to activate the notebook's HDMI output?
Windows key + P
And yes, the HDMI port is an output on the notebook.
Ok… I'll try it out tomorrow. If I google it now, I find the tip too. Funny, I must have searched for dead with the wrong search terms… Hmm.
