I have the problem that I took pictures with my Canon 700D and also looked at the pictures in between. There were about 150 pictures on the 64GB memory card.
In the evening I put the memory card in the laptop and there I saw that there's something on the memory card, about as much space is occupied as I took pictures. Then I clicked on the memory card and it was / is empty, not even the standard folder that the camera creates.
Then I tried to find the pictures with Recuva. Since I found only ancient things from the trash, which I could not restore.
Then I tried to show all hidden files, nothing.
Then I looked to see if I could see the pictures on the camera, but there was nothing there either. After that, only the standard folders were available again.
Guys, what can I do so that I can find the pictures again or that they can be shown to me again because they are there, it is shown that there's something on the memory card.
Also tries to connect the camera directly to the PC to look.
I wanted to try that if the pictures were visible on the camera. Do you think I should try anyway?
Assume the memory card is defective. Did you have them in your pocket or in the sun for a long time? SD cards do not tolerate this so well.
Try again with Recuva and depth scan.
If that doesn't work you have to copy the pictures.
Yes, I would give it a try.
My reasoning is that in the past with floppy disks there were drives in which only this floppy disk could be read, in others not. Could be that it is the same here - maybe you are lucky.
So bag, no and sun just as little. I take care of my equipment very well and it was only in the camera and in the laptop.
Olay I try, thanks!
