When I use the Elgato Camlink with my Canon EOS 700d, the image from the camera is blurred with any form of movement. Why is that?

I bought an Elgato Camlink. Now I have my Canon EOS 700d on the PC (connected via the Camlink). Then I downloaded the Elgato Capture Utility software. In the software everything works well and almost synchronously (hardly noticeable delay) works. Then I tried to use the Camlink in OBS so I worked

Sources >> Video Recording Device >> CamLink 4k

At first it looked like it was going to work, but then I noticed that if something moved in the camera image, everything was consumed. Now I have checked whether it is OBS and then connected the Camlink to another laptop instead of the Canon. Everything works great and free of consumption here.

So I thought…

Then it occurred to me that I can also select the game capture software as the WebCam source.

Sources >> Video Capture Device >> Elgato Game Capture HD

I did that too. Now the image (with the Canon) is clearer and no longer consumed, but since the Game Capture Utility software first runs through an encoder (which is probably also the reason that it is no longer consumed) everything is delayed by about 1.5 seconds. I'm still amazed at the delay, because it works fine (not just via OBS) via the Game Capture Utility software (as mentioned above).

Now I could of course synchronize everything manually, but I don't want that, because I know that it works without any problems in the game capture software (not first via OBS and then via the software, but only via the software).

Is it my Canon camera? If so, why is the Game Capture Utility software easy?

Is it the Camlink? If so, why is it possible with another laptop without any problems.

How do I solve the problem?

Can someone help?

So I've changed the video system from PAL to NTSC! The frame rate of the camera and the camlink match. With Canon (and with most other brands) this is no problem. At Panasonic I would be careful! With the HV-C180 camcorder it was very difficult to change the whole thing! And then there was "Com" and "E01 PC Connect" on the screen all the time. We had to completely reset the camera. But then it went xD

How do i change video system from PAL to NTSC?

Gu

Power on the camera, push the "menu" button, select the second menu (the tool-icon with the two dots), scroll down, select "NTSC" in the Videosystem mode
